IMI announces conference agenda

A detailed seminar agenda for the Emerging Applies Technologies Conference, scheduled for Oct. 25-27 in Fort Lauderdale, is now available on the Association of Marina Industries' Web site.

The conference, produced by the International Marina Institute, focuses on up-and-coming technologies that will have significant impacts on the marina industry. Seminars will cover what marinas will look like in the future, "green" construction, environmentally friendly moorings, Web 2.0 and the new World Wide Web, pressure-wash treatment systems, and fire protection.

Speakers include host Larry Halgren, of Halgren & Associatesl; Steve Ryder, with Bellingham Marine Industries; Kellie Thornell-Crete, of Ink Inc.; Austin Bleier, of MarineSync; and Dan Natchez, of Daniel Natchez and Associates.
