IMI names host for Drystack Conference

Marina industry veteran and consultant Larry Halgren will host the International Marina Institute’s 10th Drystack Conference, which runs Oct. 27-28 in Fort Lauderdale at the B Ocean Hotel.

With more than 35 years of experience in the marine industry, Halgren has expertise in marina and waterfront development, operations, infrastructure and marina components. His portfolio incorporates market research for sites, marina plans and site selection, and marina financing and feasibility studies. Halgren worked for Bellingham Marine Industries, the Washington State Ferry System and Uniflite before starting his consulting business. He has been a member of IMI’s faculty for the advanced marina management course for more than eight years.

The Drystack Conference, held by Association of Marina Industries subsidiary IMI, explores the latest in drystack technologies.
