The International Marina Institute, a training subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries, will visit six facilities during its fifth annual Southeast Florida Marina Study Tour Oct. 26-27.

The tour, based this year at the Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek in Fort Lauderdale, will occur immediately after the closing of the IMI’s fall conference, “Increasing Marina Profits in the New Economy: From Surviving to Thriving,” scheduled for Oct. 23-25.

This year’s tour will stop at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club in Lighthouse Point; the Rybovich Superyacht Marina in West Palm Beach; the Harbour Towne Marina in Dania; Marina Bay in Fort Lauderdale; the Roscioli Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale; and Sunset Harbour Yacht Club & Marina in Miami Beach.

The tour is a two-day mobile training course that takes participants on exclusive tours of marinas to provide an in-depth look at the operations of different types of facilities in South Florida. At the end of each day attendees participate in a facilitated roundtable discussion and analysis of each marina before heading to a networking dinner.
