Industry mourns longtime Connecticut dealer

Gary H. Reynolds Sr., president and owner of Reynolds’ Garage & Marine in Lyme, Conn., died July 9 after a brief battle with cancer.

Reynolds had worked at the family business since he was a young boy, according to the company website. After graduating from Babson College in 1965, he worked for Ford Motor Co., but returned in 1967 to continue in the family business, which he bought from his father in 1977.

Reynolds was active in the Lyme community and was a member of the Hamburg Cove Yacht Club. He was a longtime member of the Connecticut Marine Trades Association.
