Industry veteran forms consulting group

Mari Lou Livingood, formerly with the Association of Marina Industries and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, formed a new consulting and development firm, The Livingood Group, in Washington, D.C.

The Livingood Group is dedicated to growing the recreational boating and fishing industries with strategic integration of government relations, fundraising and constituency building.

Livingood has extensive background in government affairs, business development, corporate, and event planning for boating, fishing and conservation organizations.

Recently, she promoted fishing and boating to more than 600 urban youths with the Nation's River Bass Tournament, while serving as director of development with Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region.
