Industry veteran launches new business

Bob Saxon, a veteran of the large-yacht industry, has launched Bob Saxon Consultancy.

The Bob Saxon Consultancy offers an array of services for the marine industry, including marine service and yacht business plans; corporate and yacht marketing strategies; charter marketing strategies and positioning; marine market branding; and yacht operational and administrative overviews.

The company will also offer yacht ownership consulting, operating efficiencies, sales strategies, and owner liaison, representative and agent.

Throughout his career Saxon has worked with 3,000 owners on a broad number of yachts and a diverse array of projects. He has held a series of senior executive positions in the large-yacht sector, recently serving as president of Camper & Nicholsons USA.

He also was president of the Sacks Group and vice president of Whittemore & Williams.

Saxon is the founding president of the International Superyacht Society, an industry trade group that supports the global superyacht industry. He is a licensed broker-manager with Florida Yacht Brokers Association and a leading industry spokesman and advocate.
