International Marine unveils Facebook page

International Marine recently launched a Facebook page where boaters can ask questions and get solutions.

The page regularly offers informative videos and links to newly launched books and e-books. International Marine also plans giveaway announcements and e-book releases.

International Marine's catalog includes household names in the industry, from Paul Elvstrom to Robert Perry, and from Ed Sherman and Charlie Wing to the U.S. Power Squadrons, whose books offer techniques for increasing nautical knowledge. International Marine also has published classics such as "The Strange Last Voyage of Donald Crowhurst" and "The Hal Roth Seafaring Trilogy," and Ellen MacArthur's Vendee Globe record circumnavigation in "Taking on the World."

To launch its Facebook page, International Marine is hosting a sweepstakes in honor of George Washington. Winners can receive a copy of the bestselling nautical history book "George Washington's Great Gamble," by James L. Nelson.

The sweepstakes closes Feb. 22.
