Island Packet Yachts adds Quickline upgrade options

Quickline, a California-based importer and distributor of marine gear and accessory products, said its Ultra Anchor and Ultra Flip Swivel are now available as upgrade options on the new Blue Jacket 40, as well as the complete line of luxury sailing yachts from Island Packet Yachts.

Quickline said the Ultra Anchor is type-certified SHP (superior holding power) by the American Bureau of Shipping for its entire line from 11 to 800 pounds. The Ultra Anchor features an extremely large concave fluke for high holding power.

The company said the Ultra Flip Swivel’s compact design shortens the required length between windlass and bow roller, reducing clutter on the foredeck and saving deck space. Built of 316L stainless steel, the Ultra Flip Swivel is designed to take a side load up to its breaking strength.

“Most standard anchors boatbuilders offer for their new boats do not come close to the quality, reliability and performance of the Ultra Anchor and Ultra Flip Swivel,” Island Packet Yachts vice president Bill Bolin said in a statement. “They are the perfect upgrade option for IPY yachts and our new performance cruising Blue Jacket 40, whose design team has 15 Boat Of The Year awards under their belts.”

“The Ultra Anchor’s premier design, high-quality construction, and quickest setting and highest holding capability of any anchor on the market make it the ideal match for the top quality and construction of IPY- and Blue Jacket-branded yachts,” Quickline president Randy Boelsems said in a statement.
