ISS names new officers

The International Superyacht Society announced the appointment of its 2012 officers and executive committee.

Ken Hickling, global business development manager at Akzo Nobel, was elected president, and Dieter Jaenicke, chairman of Viking Recruitment, was named vice president.

Treasurer is Branson Bean, founder of Fine Focus; secretary is Rob Carron, vice president of Marsh Luxury Yacht Practice; and boat representative is Norma Trease, director of sales and marketing for Salamanca Marine.

Rounding out the board is past president Bob Saxon, president of International Yacht Collection.
