Italian marketing firm relocates to Switzerland

The Italian marketing firm Sand People Communication added a new public relations team, redesigned its website and logo and relocated its headquarters to Switzerland.

The firm named Elisa Corti and Silvia Montagna to the team that will work with Alexander Razinkov — who is in charge of PR in Russia — and Adriana Zambon, who is in charge of special activities in Italy.

Corti has extensive public relations expertise in Italy and Montagna comes from a background in journalism at the Italian magazine Barche.

Starting early next year, the new team will issue press releases directly.

Corti is handling public relations for Porto Montenegro, Arcadia Yachts, Hodgdon Yachts, Floating Life & Yacht Plus, Christian Grande Yacht Design, Gamma Yachts and Sailogy.

Montagna is in charge of public relations for Benetti, Otam, Oceanic Yachts, Tankoa, Numarine and IMS Shipyard.

Sand People also has introduced a revamped website and 2015 logo.

“We plan everything around service to our editors,” Sand People founder and CEO Gianluca Poerio said in a statement. “We are positively obsessed with editors, everything and anything we do is for them — no job is too small — our time is for them, with no compromises — except on very windy days, when we have to go windsurfing ... me in particular!”
