ITC seeks feedback from companies that export to the U.K.

The International Trade Commission is researching trade-related barriers affecting small and medium U.S. companies’ exports to the United Kingdom.

The ITC reached out to the National Marine Manufacturers Association to find out what the marine industry’s experiences have been with exports to the U.K.

“Our government is currently leading the United States-United Kingdom Trade and Investment Working Group, which is assessing ways to strengthen trade and investment ties and provide commercial continuity for U.S. and U.K. businesses as the U.K. prepares to leave the European Union,” wrote Julie Balzano, NMMA export development senior director, in a letter to members.

“It's critically important to share barriers and opportunities with U.S. trade officials now to help prepare for a smooth transition,” Balzano said.
