The International Yacht Restoration School will be holding open houses at its Newport and Bristol, R.I., locations in November.

IYRS hopes to provide individuals interested in marine careers the chance to learn more about the industry and available career and training opportunities in the field.

The first open house will be held 4-7 p.m. Nov. 5 in Newport, and the second will be held 4-7 p.m. Nov. 12 in Bristol.

Staff and instructors will join IYRS students at both events to educate attendees about training programs available at the school and tuition-funding resources available.
