John Deere Power Systems will soon begin production of three new marine engines.

The PowerTech 6068AFM75, 6090SFM75 and 6135SFM75 diesels are the newest additions to the John Deere lineup and offer a power range of 186 hp to 750 hp.

The new engines, scheduled to hit the market in early 2010, meet EPA Tier 2 and EU emissions requirements and are Marpol Annex VI compliant.

"We have developed our new marine engines to provide commercial and recreational marine customers with higher horsepower ratings," said Dave Flaherty, marine marketing manager for John Deere Power Systems, in a statement.
