Cantiere Navale Italia completed the acquisition of Kifaru Yachts.

Kifaru was founded in 2008 and gained attention when it launched the 63-foot Askari model for soccer player and coach Roberto Mancini.

Kifaru is the first acquisition in Cantiere Navale Italia’s growth strategy, which aims to form an Italian marine group.

"We were already building for Kifaru, and the recent acquisition does formally seal an evolution phase to which we were working on for some time,” Cantiere Navale Italia Nico Laude said in a statement. “I like to think that we had taken the first steps on a long road to international success.”
