Latin America marina planning seminar set for April

The Argentine Association of Port Engineers will hold its first Latin American seminar during the sixth Argentine Congress of Port Engineering to be held April 5-7 in Buenos Aires.

The seminar is being held in honor of the 125th anniversary of PIANC, The World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure. Esteban Biondi, a senior engineer for applied technology and management headquartered in Gainesville, Fla., will present a paper on marina planning.

Biondi has more than 18 years of experience in ocean and waterfront projects, including marina developments, port structures and environmental impact studies. He has been a member of ATM's consulting teams since 2002.
