The head of the European luxury yacht management firm Rodriguez Group was detained by French police.

According to Reuters, police declined to announce what Alexandre Rodriguez is being investigated for, but noted it was in connection with a high-profile sting that has netted some of the country's "most notorious gangsters," according to the news service.

A scroll on the company's Web site indicates trading of company stock was temporarily suspended "in the shareholders' interest."
