Online boating magazine Mad Mariner has added a boat review section to its Web site.

Mad Mariner says its reviews provide honest, independent and detailed assessments of both sail- and powerboats, with photos, test data, documentation, testimonials and up-to-the-minute price listings.

“Our new boat review library provides an advanced set of tools for readers and is focused on boats that are well within the budget of many boaters,” said Glen Justice, founder and editor of Mad Mariner, in a statement.

Searchable by price, model and location, the reviews include fuel and range charts, engine manuals, brochures and equipment lists, as well as links to owner associations, forums, restoration sites and reviews from other publications.
