Mad Mariner recently created MadCast, a weekly 30-minute podcast that features interviews with individuals from all corners of the boating world.

MadCast features boating industry leaders and CEOs, as well as designers, authors, testers, cruisers, rescuers and everyday boaters. The podcasts are available every Wednesday on MadMariner.com, iTunes and BlogTalkRadio.com.

Each week, MadMariner.com also provides links to information on each podcast topic, as well as transcripts of the interviews.

"The MadCast is designed to give readers a glimpse of the boating world they might not ordinarily see," said Glen Justice, founder and editor of Mad Mariner, in a statement.

Mad Mariner's MadCast debuted with eight 30-minute podcast interviews, delivering four hours of talks with such people as Mark Welsh and George Blaisdell of Triumph Boats; Jim Ewing, president of the newly revived Trumpy Yachts; Lenny Rudow, a veteran marine writer and editor; Jeff Siegel, founder of ActiveCaptain.com and an expert on mobile technology and Mark Doyle, author of "Get Onboard With E-Charting."
