Magazine names Suntex facility as its marina of the year

Suntex Marina Investors LLC, an owner and operator of marina properties, said its Liberty Landing Marina in New Jersey was selected by Marina Dock Age magazine as the 2016 National Marina of the Year.

This marks a two-year run for Suntex properties awarded Marina of the Year. Marina Jack, recently purchased by Suntex, earned the title in 2015.

“Cultivation of a world-class marina takes a great deal of care and effort,” Bryan Redmond, founding principal of Suntex, said in a statement.

“Our outstanding staff works tirelessly to serve our members and the local community, which has resulted in the best customer service in the industry. In addition, we invest considerable resources to upgrade the facilities we acquire and enhance the amenities offered to ensure the most beautiful and most enjoyable member experience at every Suntex location.”

“Liberty Landing Marina was an easy choice for its top-notch operations, and how its personal customer service turned the marina into a home for employees and boaters,” Marina Dock Age editor Anna Townsend said. “It’s quite a story to tell, and I’m excited to do that for our April 2017 issue.”

Liberty Landing Marina is in northern New Jersey, adjacent to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, and directly across from Manhattan in the heart of Liberty State Park.
