Marine Concepts/JRL Ventures has new owner

Leisure Product Holdings LLC bought Marine Concepts/JRL Ventures.

Leisure Product Holdings LLC bought Marine Concepts/JRL Ventures.

Marine Concepts, of Sarasota and Cape Coral, Fla., joins Leisure Product Holdings' family of brands, which include Marine Electrical Products, Florida Marine Tanks and Erwin Cole Enterprises.

Leisure Product Holdings makes investments in the commercial and recreational marine industries.

"We are looking forward to the growth and synergistic opportunities this acquisition will bring to the LPH family," Marine Concepts CEO Bob Long said in a statement.

Long will remain with the company and will join Leisure Product Holdings’ board. JRL president Matt Chambers and the rest of the JRL management team will continue in their current roles.

"This is an exciting opportunity for our whole portfolio and will allow us to offer more products and services to all of our customers," Leisure Product Holdings chairman J. Pearson said.
