Kim Loenichen has been promoted to vice president of sales at Monterey and Blackfin boats, where she had been director of sales for more than 15 years.

Loenichen’s four decades of experience in the marine industry include a 26-year stint as Wellcraft Marine’s national sales coordinator.

“Kim has demonstrated great vision, leadership and energy and has had tremendous success in the building, development and implementation of our global sales teams, initiatives, team performance and dealer development,” said Monterey and Blackfin Boats co-chairman Charles Marshall in a statement.

Marshall also cited Loenichen’s critical roles in increasing sales positioning and generation and for having the foresight to put the builder in a solid position for annual growth.

“I’m excited and humbled to take on this new role with Monterey and Blackfin Boats,” said Loenichen. “I am looking forward to leading [them] into a new era along with one of the best sales teams in the industry today.”

Monterey Boats and Blackfin Boats both earned awards at the 2019 Miami International Boat Show, with the latter planning four new vessels for 2021.
