Marine insurance workshop set for Annapolis

A marine insurance seminar will be held Thursday, Dec. 3 at the Calvert House in Annapolis, Md.

Sponsored by the American Boat and Yacht Council and the Mid-Atlantic Mariners Club, the seminar offer attendees the ability to earn up to eight continuing education units.

Four hours will be dedicated to towing and salvage and four hours will feature ABYC marine standards and in-water electrical shock issues, identification and prevention. Credits will be awarded at the end of the day to those holding a P&C License in the states of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.

The registration fee is $200 for MAMC and ABYC members and $250 for non-members, which includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon refreshments and a holiday social with open bar and hors d'oeuvres.
