Marine Marketers of America is calling for entries for the 2013 Neptune Awards. The awards, which recognize outstanding work in marketing, will be presented in February at the Miami International Boat Show.

Entries will be accepted in 12 categories: national magazine ads, national magazine ads in a series, Web advertising (banner ads), product literature, newsletters, email promotion/blasts, regional/local marketing, video, mobile apps, social media campaign, marketing innovation and special event/sales promotion.

The sixth annual competition is open to any company or organization that produced and published marine industry marketing work during calendar-year 2013.

The deadline for submissions is Jan. 8. Complete program details, including entry guidelines and the official entry form, are posted on the association’s website.

“We’re confident that the 2013 Neptune Awards will be our biggest and best ever, with more entries in all of our categories,” awards committee co-chairwoman Sally Helme said in a statement.

“Announcing the 2012 winners at Miami for the first time back in February has contributed to a much broader awareness of both Marine Marketers and the Neptune Awards. There is a lot of great work being done in our industry right now, and we hope that marine marketers will take advantage of the Neptune Awards program to have their creativity and marketing innovation celebrated by their peers.”
