The Massachusetts Marine Trades Association is holding Massachusetts Kids Boating and Fishing Week from June 1-9, with a couple of events taking place the weekend of June 15, as well. The event is designed to encourage and promote youth boating and fishing events.

MMTA has been promoting the events for three years, adding events each year, the association said in a statement.

Last year, there were eight registered events, compared to four in 2017. This year there are nine events. Click here for the full list.
