MBIA elects new officers

The Michigan Boating Industry Association elected new officers Dec. 4 during its Recreational Boating Educational Conference.

Two new directors were elected to three-year terms on the board. They were: Kathleen Torresen, Torresen Marine in Muskegon and Steve Popkie, W. C. Beardslee, Harsens Island.

Also elected for a second three-year term was Steve Remias, MacRay Harbor, Harrison Township.

The board then elected Eric Foster, Belle Maer Harbor, Harrison Township as chairman; Rob McCarthy, Lakeside Marine in Harrison Township, as vice chairman and Remias as secretary/treasurer.
