MBIA to host educational conference

The Recreational Boating Educational Conference, produced by the Michigan Boating Industries Association, is set for Oct. 1 in Midland, Mich.

Presentations include research needed to enhance the future of recreational boating, financing challenges, the need for innovation and creativity, new marketing tactics, the importance of the online presence, common employer misconceptions and strengthening sales efforts.

"The conference is the only educational conference in Michigan dedicated to the marine industry," MBIA president Van Snider said in a statement. "Our members understand the value associated with continued education and networking especially during challenging times."
