MDCE 2011: MRAA teams with Dominion on dealer sessions

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Marine Retailers Association of America announced at the 2011 Marine Dealer Conference & Expo that it is partnering with Dominion Marine Media to create Marine Retail University.

The series of regional education conferences is designed to offer professional development opportunities to dealers across North America.

“These events will highlight areas of opportunities for dealers to pursue and will give them the knowledge and the tools to capitalize on those opportunities,” MRAA president Matt Gruhn said in a statement.

The one-day conferences will include four to five educational sessions focused on regional data and information, dealer principal roundtables and keynote presentations that share best practices, trends and timely strategies.

“It’s our goal to deliver opportunities for long-term success to our customers,” Dominion Marine Media marketing director Courtney Chalmers said.

Attendance will be free for MRAA dealer members; non-members can register at a reduced rate.
