With a week to go before the Sept. 17 entry deadline, Marine Marketers of America is reminding those who create and produce marketing to submit materials for the third annual Neptune Awards for Marketing Excellence.
"This is a singular opportunity for marine marketers to showcase their most creative work and get some valuable recognition for themselves, their boss, their client or their business," Marine Marketers vice president Michael Sciulla said.
The awards, which recognize outstanding work in the marine marketing field, will be presented at the organization's annual meeting Oct. 28 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The 2010 Neptune Awards will be given in nine categories, including national magazine ads, national magazine ads/series, Web advertising (banners), product literature, press kits, newsletters, e-mail promotions/blasts and marketing innovation. One new category was added this year: regional/local marketing, recognizing the best marketing program by a marine establishment in a local market.
To enter, complete the entry form on the Marine Marketers of America website, follow the directions and be sure that all materials are submitted by the deadline.
