Morris Love, past president of NMRA, dies

Morris Love, founder of the manufacturers’ representative group Love and Associates, died Feb. 7 in Tampa, Fla. He was 91.

One of the early pioneers of the manufacturers’ representative concept, Love founded his company in 1958 in Tampa. The firm continues to represent manufacturers throughout the Southeast.

Love was a past director of the National Marine Manufacturers Association and past president of the National Marine Representatives Association.

A love of good food, fine wine and travel took Love to all 50 states and all seven continents, said an obituary. He will be missed by his family, as well as many personal and marine-industry friends.
