MRA seeks annual conference presentations

The Marina Recreation Association is issuing a call for presentations for the 39th annual MRA Educational Conference and Tradeshow, set for Nov. 2-4 with the location to be announced next month.

Two days of comprehensive seminars are offered by the MRA on topics related to the marina industry, including boatyards, government agencies, legal updates, employee issues and much more. Seminars are held on Wednesday and Thursday and are up to two hours in length.

The trade show will be ongoing Wednesday and Thursday.

The MRA continually seeks presentations that bring unbiased, new information about emerging concerns and their potential effect on the industry.

Presentations must be submitted no later than Jan. 28. Submissions must be by e-mail to and must include the title of the presentation, a brief overview of the subject matter along with an outline.

The MRA will review submitted proposals at the board of directors annual planning meeting and notify presenters of their status no later than Feb. 26.
