MyTaskit forms advisory board

MyTaskit, a work coordination platform for businesses, has developed an advisory board that will provide guidance to the company’s C-level management team, with a focus on construction, property management and the marine industry.

“I’m extremely excited to welcome George Bell, Frank Blake, Jr., Jim Bronstein and Sandi Finn to the MyTaskit family, and have the opportunity to leverage the full breadth of their expertise in an advisory capacity,” said Kevin Hutchinson, founder and CEO of MyTaskit, in a statement.

A 30-year veteran of investing in consumer businesses, Bell has served as a general managing director and executive in residence at VC and private equity firm General Catalyst Partners, and CEO at Jumptap, Upromise, Excite@Home and Excite. He serves on boards including and John Wiley and Sons and is a former director at Angie’s List, which merged with home services platform HomeAdvisor. Bell was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young for California and New England.

“I’ve seen the positive real-time impact MyTaskit has on companies working out in the field and have been excited watching the business grow,” said Bell. “I’m looking forward to helping it excel.”

Blake is currently general manager of home renovation services for The Home Depot, Inc., including turnkey renovations and complete contracting solutions. He is a member of the Seraph Group and he is a member of Technology Angels. Additionally, Blake served honorably as a captain in the U.S. Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Bronstein spent 32 years as a marine business owner and executive. His experience includes large scale yacht refit yards including Rybovich, which he owned for 20 years. Bronstein is currently board chairman of Saunders Yachtworks Boatyard in Gulf Shores, Ala., owner of Marine Business Advisors and owner of a marina management company that includes Marina Palms Boat Club and Marina in Miami.

Finn is a board member, mentor and C-level executive who has transformed corporate and consumer service industry businesses. As president of Cross Country Home Services, she launched new product lines through financial, retail and industry distribution partners. She has also served in various executive leadership positions at Cendant Corporation, Haddon Holidays and E.F. Hutton & Company.
