Navimatics debuts app for charts and tides

Navimatics Corp. released to the AppStore the latest version of Charts&Tides+, providing charting support for the iPad and now full, integrated offline and synchronized support for ActiveCaptain points of interest data.

"Navimatics has done an incredible integration with our data," said Jeffrey Siegel, co-founder of the ActiveCaptain Web site. "Using the Charts&Tides product is like having our entire Web site in your pocket and always available."

Charts&Tides+ features include marine chart data from NOAA electronic navigational charts, bathymetric and topographic data from the NOAA coastal relief model, tide harmonics data and more.
