Boatstobuy.com was recently launched by boat owners with extensive software, Web development and business development backgrounds to provide a one-stop resource for boat buyers and sellers.

The site is free to list a boat and is designed to assist sellers in promoting their boats.

Boatstobuy.com aggregates featured videos regularly to keep the content fresh while maintaining a library of helpful videos. The site offers sailing videos and sailing lesson videos along with new-boat test videos, which are updated regularly.

The site will be developing a forum where boat owners can share their opinions, offer advice and create groups specific to the types of boats in which they might be interested, the company said.

"In this current economy, we wanted to create a site for boaters who could list their boat for free and take advantage of additional tools within the site that could further assist them promote their boat," principal Laura Rosen said in a statement.

Boatstobuy.com is part of a series of sites catering to luxury items for sale. The "tobuy.com" series also includes motorcarstobuy.com and realtytobuy.com. The company says they also intend to launch airplanestobuy.com and motorcyclestobuy.com.
