The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey is launching a new show, the Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo, Sept. 18-20 at First Energy Park in Lakewood.

The event will feature new and used boats and accessories for sale by MTA/NJ members and marine retailers. It was organized by the MTA/NJ and dealers to offer a low-cost, one-stop alternative to sell boats and move product during these challenging economic times.

"The Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo is a new dealer-driven sales event for and owned by the dealers," said Rick Traber, president of MTA/NJ and owner of Pier 47 Marina, in a statement. "This event provides exhibitors an affordable means of selling boats as well as a perfect venue for the public to get a great deal on a boat."

All proceeds from the event will go back to the association to support its efforts to promote and protect the recreational boating industry in New Jersey.

For information on exhibiting at the show, contact the MTA/NJ at (732) 292-1051 or info@mtanj.org.
