New boatbuilder sets up shop in Louisiana

Caddo Manufacturing, of Vivian, La., is set to begin building boats Dec. 1.

Billy Breed and Joel Euton purchased the VIP, Deckliner and BayStealth assets in September, the same month they incorporated the new company. The boats had previously been part of Vivian Industries.

The company is in the process of getting a price book and brochure completed and plans to sell the boats throughout the United States through independent sales reps, said Judy Cannon, national sales coordinator.

Breed and Euton have many years of experience in sales and manufacturing in the marine industry, according to a statement from the company.

“Their goals will reflect a new and improved company with dedicated people and ideas for a better working relationship with their dealers,” the company said.
