Nine members of the Coast Guard captain's license training class took their oath last week in Thomaston, Maine.

The Marine Systems Training Center partnered with the TrueCourse Captain's School to offer a series of Coast Guard training sessions. Under the training of Capt. Dick Devoe, participants were prepared for the OUPV (six-passenger) License, the Master Upgrade and the Tow and Sail Endorsements.

The training center will be planning more Coast Guard license training classes for the coming summer and fall.
