Annapolis Yacht Sales named Clay Mathias sales broker and Laura Stevens sales administrator

A former broker for Bluenose Yacht Sales and North Point Yacht Sales, Mathias is a 100-ton Coast Guard-licensed captain and a US Sailing-certified instructor. He is also a delivery captain and recently completed two trips along the East Coast.

Stevens, a 25-year Annapolis, Md., resident, was an ecologist and project manager with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She has spent the past 12 years in the fitness industry, most recently as the operations manager of Fleet Feet Annapolis.

"Clay and Laura are both key additions to the AYS sales team,” sales director Bill Tilghman said in a statement. "Both have already brought new energy and focus to our sales department, and we look forward to their many successes with AYS."

Jun Eom joined the worldwide service and support team at Marine Jet Power

He is responsible for aftermarket customer service in Korea.

“Jun’s extensive commercial marine experience is critical as we strive to provide the best customer experience for operators in Asia,” said Silver Park, MJP Korea managing director, in a statement. “He will be responsible for key account management and after sales coordination, ensuring customers and operators receive first-rate service and support in the field.”

Eom has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial marine sector. He has worked for Hyundai Merchant Marine; Wärtsilä, as a service and sales engineer; Alfa Laval, as a marine sales manager; and NOV, as a country manager.


Aaron Johns joined Indiana-based Coatney Sales as a representative for Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma

The independent manufacturer rep group specializes in the OEM and aftermarket marine, RV, trailer, specialty vehicle, power sports and sporting goods segments.

Johns most recently served as regional sales manager for Moeller Marine. He previously worked for Johnston Industrial Supply and North American Composites.

Jessica Haengel and Glen Vogel are celebrating 10-year work anniversaries with Priority One

Haengel serves as business manager, providing retail financial services for dealers nationwide. Vogel is an operations manager, overseeing Priority One’s team of business managers.
