NMMA adds former congressional staffer to team

Jill Sims, a former staffer in Congressman Dave Reichert’s (R-WA-08) office, joined the National Marine Manufacturers Association as a policy and engagement manager. She will support the association’s advocacy and grassroots activities in Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.

“Jill’s vast government relations experience, coupled with her time working on Capitol Hill and in the Midwest region, makes her an excellent addition to our team,” Nicole Vasilaros, NMMA senior vice president of government relations and legal affairs, said in a statement. “She will play a key role as we deepen our footprint and increase our state-level presence in the region.”

Sims most recently was operations and finance manager for Congressman Reichert.
