The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey Foundation awarded two education scholarships to students pursuing careers in the marine industry.

The MTA/NJ also awarded two outstanding student awards for the purchase of tools.

This is the fifth year that the association has awarded scholarships to deserving students.

The MTA/NJ again doubled the amount of the scholarship because of a $1,500 award from the Marine Retailers Association of America Education Foundation, which provides financial support for education, training and professional development in the recreational marine trades.
