Nicholson Yachts and Seaton Yachts have formed a limited strategic partnership, creating a combined portfolio of services that includes yacht brokerage, refit and project management, crewed charter fleet management, and the purchase and sale of yachts for charter.

The companies will continue to operate globally from their headquarters in Newport, R.I., but will now have representation at a Nicholson office in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Nicholson’s Southeast United States satellite office also will allow the companies to better serve clients in that region.

“This union of two marine industry leaders is a boon to clients, who will have a trusted partner to assist with all phases of yacht ownership,” John Clayman, Seaton president, said in a statement.

“For decades we’ve treated our customers like family, whether they are yacht owners, buyers or vacation sailors, and this will allow us to serve them so much better,” said Karen Kelly Shea, president of Nicholson Yachts. “I’m excited about the next phase of our company’s growth with John Clayman and Seaton at our side.”
