Sea-Dog Line and Mallory Marine were the winners of the 2009 National Marine Distributors Association Supplier of the Year Awards, which were presented Monday during the NMDA's annual Sales, Training, Education & Purchasing Conference in Orlando, Fla.

"In these very challenging times for our industry, it has never been more important to recognize the outstanding performance of companies supplying products through NMDA member wholesale distributors, to the thousands of independent marine retailers across the U.S. and Canada," NMDA executive director Nancy Cueroni said in a statement.

Sea-Dog Line won for the fifth year in a row in the platinum suppliers' category. The Everett, Wash.-based company is a leading supplier of more than 5,500 marine dock, deck and rigging hardware items, 12-volt electrical/lighting and ventilation accessories.
