NMEA launches new Web site

The National Marine Electronics Association launched a new Web site, offering comprehensive information on NMEA standards, training programs, and other features.

In a members-only section of the site, the 550 NMEA member companies can access information to help them build their customer bases and their businesses. A marketing section provides free or low-cost marketing materials developed by the NMEA and its official magazine, Marine Electronics Journal.

The materials include the MEJ Buyers' Guide for distribution to boaters, the NMEA brochure, NMEA logos and other materials.

Other information offered in the members-only section includes digital issues of the Marine Electronics Journal, a business owner newsletter, information about the NMEA Convention and Expo, and NMEA member news.

For the boating public, the new site provides information on where and how to buy, install and operate marine electronics.
