NMMA adds federal affairs director

The National Marine Manufacturers Association has added a federal affairs director to its lobbying team.

Lance West joined NMMA this week and will join the association’s advocacy team lobbying on Capitol Hill, reporting to federal and legal affairs vice president Nicole Vasilaros.

West will help the NMMA team address key issues impacting recreational boating, the NMMA said.

He is a native West Virginian and avid angler and outdoorsman, and spent the past five years as a legislative assistant for Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.V.

He brings experience handling appropriations, transportation, and natural resource issues.
