NMMA Expands Membership Team

The organization announced the appointment of four people, three from within NMMA and one new hire.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association announced today that four people have taken new positions on its membership team to support the strategic initiatives of the organization.

Ashley Smith, most recently with the Association of Energy Services Professionals, will take on the role of director of membership. Jessica Dennis, who has been with NMMA since 2017, will transition to the newly created manager of membership services position. Nick Ligammari has been promoted to vice president of operations, and Lewis Webb was promoted to vice president of technology.

“Ashley, Jessica, Lewis and Nick bring decades of membership service, technical experience and insights to their roles in order to deliver a top-quality association experience for our more than 1,300 member companies,” Robert Newsome, NMMA chief administrative officer and senior vice president of operations, said in a statement.

NMMA also announced that director of membership Bryan Welsh will retire Dec. 31.
