NMMA plans election-season webinar Thursday

The National Marine Manufacturers Association’s government relations staff will review the industry’s most important policy issues and provide a 2014 election outlook in a webinar scheduled for Thursday.

The NMMA said the webinar will include policy updates about the Renewable Fuel Standard and E15; the effort to reauthorize the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act; and how legislation that would reauthorize the Export-Import Bank could affect marine businesses.

The election forecast will include ways that predicted changes could affect the industry.

The webinar will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. (EDT). Space is limited and those interested in attending are asked to reserve their seat by going to https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/320266688.
