NMMA reports boost in engine shipments

The NMMA reported that U.S. outboard engine wholesale shipments were up 4.9 percent in April.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association reported that U.S. outboard engine wholesale shipments were up 4.9 percent in April on a rolling 12-month year-over-year basis.

The data come from the NMMA's control group of manufacturers, which represent 95 percent of the market.

Total retail sales, based on warranty card registrations, were up 8.2 percent on a rolling 12-month, year-over-year basis.
