NMMA seeks entrepreneurs for Spanish show event

Entrepreneurs with startups or an innovative product who are interested in marketing in Spain are invited to participate in the inaugural Conference for Entrepreneurs at the Barcelona International Boat Show 2016.

The event will take place on Oct. 13 and the National Marine Manufacturers Association said it is an opportunity to present a company’s product or service and make contact with sector professionals and angel investors in Spain and abroad.

For 400 euros, about $452 at today’s exchange rate, businesses will receive a 3-square-meter stand in a special “Entrepreneur” section of the show on Oct. 13; creation and promotion of a video for dissemination to Spanish media and social media; possible selection to present to a live audience, including angel investors; and networking activities that include roundtable discussions with successful entrepreneurs and industry representatives, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.

The NMMA said it will exhibit at the Oct. 12-16 show and will support NMMA members who wish to participate in the entrepreneurial opportunity.
