The National Marine Manufacturers Association said it is accepting nominations for the 2018 Alan J. Freedman Memorial Leadership Award.

Recipients have been recognized for their contributions to the marine accessories industry.

The NMMA said in its Currents newsletter that the categories for consideration are: a marine aftermarket or OEM manufacturer; a marine representative; a member of a marine-focused media; a boat dealer; a marine distributor; and a marine trade association staff member.

Nominations should be submitted to Rachel Harmon (rharmon@nmma.org.) The award will be presented at the Miami International Boat Show during the Innovation Breakfast on Feb. 16.
