The National Marine Manufacturers Association said it will honor the Congressional Boating Caucus and host on-water receptions at the Republican and Democratic national conventions in July.

The receptions will provide NMMA members with a platform to discuss boating business with decision makers, delegates and members of Congress and serve as an opportunity to share company business success stories.

The first reception will be held at the Republican National Convention on July 20 from noon to 3 p.m. at the North Coast Harbor Docks in Cleveland; the second reception will be held at the Democratic National Convention on July 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Seaport Museum at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia.

The on-water events will offer those who attend a chance to experience boat rides and live boat demos, tour docked boats and listen to local leaders highlight the economic value of the boating industry.
