Nominations sought for Top 100 dealer list

Boating Industry magazine recently opened nominations for the 2013 Top 100.

Every year, the publication recognizes the top 100 boat dealers during a gala at the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla., which is co-sponsored by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas.

Top 100 dealers also receive a marketing package to help promote their achievement, and all applicants to the program can receive feedback about their business and application.

As part of the Top 100 the judges also select a Dealer of the Year and give several Best in Class awards, including Best Service Department, Best Marketing and Most Innovative.

“In response to dealer feedback we’ve also made the application available earlier than in past years so dealers can work on it during the slower time of the year,” editor-in-chief Jonathan Sweet said in a statement. “This year’s online application has also been streamlined to make it quicker and easier to complete.”
